I’ve gotten a ton of fan art from Not Dave, and he’s awesome for that, but I just got an amazing piece from frankruiz, so I felt I should finally upload some that were older from other people and from before I got the blog. Click for bigger versions. For the last six months, everyone I know has been talking about the Persona series, especially Persona 3. P3, as they’ve called it, was something that was starting to annoy the fuck out of me. I didn’t need to know who the fuck Yukari was. I was sick of people talking about Mara. It’s the place where Let’s Plays were born. To be honest, I’ve never done an LP I felt would be good enough for the site, until now. I’ll make this “review” short, since I’m just going to discuss some pros and cons. Pros: the thing is smaller and lighter (plus [...] In my Let’s Play watching, I’ve noticed something: every successful LPer (and by successful, I don’t mean I necessarily like them) has a gimmick. ResearchIndicates has a smooth voice. UltraJMan has excessive anger. (Do I even have to explain raocow to you people?) Non sequiturs are what DeceasedCrab employs. For Cybershell, it’s his graphics. Dark [...] I’m sure some of you have seen this video showing pictures of Icrangirl and AzureBlade49. I guess the person who posted this video thinks it’s some sort of a revelation to show what LPers look like, and I think he feels superior because he found something no one else even cared to or took the [...] I’m a huge fan of rhythm games. Amplitude is one of my favorites in the genre just because it was the first one I ever played. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are both pretty cool also. There are a few things those three games have in common: popular songs, life meters, and powerups.
